Coming of Age is designed to empower mothers to teach their daughters about the power of understanding their bodies as they grow and mature into their next phase of womanhood.
Giving mother's the language to talk to their daughters about the changes in brain wiring, and hormone cycles during the month to give their daughters an empowered perspective on their beautiful cycles of life.
This teaching aims to frame female biology as empowering, powerful, and incredible, rather than fearful, mysterious, painful, and a burden. Dr. Lauren & Abigail Burton will be providing a safe space to discuss these topics and encouraging open communication, so mothers can help their daughters improve their health, bodies & empower them along the way.
Additionally, the course will help mothers to understand the impact of our personal framing and stories we have told ourselves, and how it can shape our perception of our bodies and cycles too.
One of the BIGGEST taboo topics includes communication and celebration of a maturing young girl from the male perspective, aka (father & brothers) in the home.
So we will touch on the topic of how to begin this conversation and include the entire family in the celebration. Men should also have a healthy perspective of this beautiful and unique time in their daughter's/sister's life.
It's time to discuss the Coming of Age in a safe and positive way for the entire family!
